This (lady) Octopus is finding a way to care for herself so she can care for others. When Octopuses give birth, they stop doing everything – they don’t eat, hunt, or play. All they do is blow bubbles over their eggs until one day they can’t anymore, so the tiny octopus hatchlings have to manage on their own.

Our Octopus knows this looks like caring, but she wants to find another way to care – one that means she can keep caring, and keep growing. She’s off to cause trouble, break boundaries, and find friends.
